Health Tip – Rest
Getting the rest that you need means so much more than just sleep. Don’t get us wrong, sleep is also a vital part of staying healthy, but we need more than just sleep. Our minds also need time to rest, to get a break from those everyday problems and worries.
Here are some of our favorite ways to add more REST into your day:
Spend some time pursuing your hobbies. Enjoy a bit of a mental break doing something you love.
Take a walk out in nature. There’s something about spending time surrounded by natural beauty that just seems to help melt those worries away.
Take time each day for meditation and prayer. Taking time to connect with the Creator and renew our spirits gives us that rest we desperately crave.
Take an extra-long hot bath or shower. Sometimes we all need a little extra alone time to just stop and think about things. ![]()
