Health Tip – Rest

Getting the rest that you need means so much more than just sleep. Don’t get us wrong, sleep is also a vital part of staying healthy, but we need more than just sleep. Our minds also need time to rest, to get a break from those everyday problems and worries.
Here are some of our favorite ways to add more REST into your day:
🫶 Spend some time pursuing your hobbies. Enjoy a bit of a mental break doing something you love.
🫶 Take a walk out in nature. There’s something about spending time surrounded by natural beauty that just seems to help melt those worries away.
🫶 Take time each day for meditation and prayer. Taking time to connect with the Creator and renew our spirits gives us that rest we desperately crave.
🫶 Take an extra-long hot bath or shower. Sometimes we all need a little extra alone time to just stop and think about things. 😉
