Muscle Response Testing (MRT)

We get asked all the time about how we figure out what the body needs so that it can heal itself. There are several different methods we utilize. MRT is one of our favorites because it takes a lot of guess work out of the equation!

Muscle Response Testing, or MRT, is one method we use to help us triangulate and figure out what is actually causing the health issues you are dealing with.

One way of thinking about how MRT works is very similar to reflex testing. There are certain points on the body that correspond to different internal systems and conditions. While touching one of these points, a muscle can be tested to see how the body responds. A strong response indicates that the point being tested is at homeostasis and does not need support. A weak response indicates that the point being tested is not at homeostasis and does need additional support.

Different points on the body that can be tested include:

Thyroid HCl Potassium

Iodine Magnesium/Manganese Trace Minerals

Adrenals Yeast Colon

Sinuses Protein Enzymes

Vitamin D/A/C Sodium Pancreas

Just to name a few! A point that tests weak can then be retested with a food or supplement to see if that item will help bring the body back into homeostasis. This is a great way to take the guess work out of what the body needs!

Another way to think about MRT is talking directly to the subconscious. The subconscious knows everything that goes on within the body and directs it all like a symphony. By talking to the subconscious and getting clear “yes, that is true” or “no, that is false” answers to statements we can more easily figure out what is out of balance within the body and figure out what will help bring the body fully back into balance. This is very useful when looking for non-physical things, like stuck or unprocessed emotions, that may be causing a disharmony within the body.

Either way you look at it, Muscle Response Testing is a great tool that helps us figure out what is causing any particular health issue that you may be dealing with. When combined with other tools like pH testing, Iridology, Facial Reading, and looking at each client’s history we get a very good idea of what is going on with each individual’s health.
